Who am I?

I've been asked repeatedly on social media to identify where I stand. Here are the broad strokes.

I've called Lincoln County home since 2013. We moved here when my husband took a position with the U.S. Forest Service, and we stayed because it became home.

I grew up in Veneta, and I claim my Oregon roots. I believe in the Oregon Way — we are neighbors first.

I am not running as part of a ticket, and I am not supported by an outside PAC. My campaign is funded by my own investment and supported by individuals who believe in what I'm doing.

I am a Democrat. I worked for and am endorsed by Congresswoman Val Hoyle. But this is a nonpartisan position, and I will always do what is best for the most people in Lincoln County.

As a local journalist and as a Congressional Field Representative, I've built solid relationships across city, state, and federal governments and agencies, and with many of you here in Lincoln County.

I know the issues. I know our communities. I know how to get results for Lincoln County.

I'm asking for your vote. Your votes for the three open seats for Lincoln County Commissioner matter. The composition of the Board will determine the future of Lincoln County.
